Little glimpses of big dogs

We have been noticing the cutest little "big dog" behavior from the puppies as they grow. In the past day or so we have seen Mudge licking his paw, Squirrel scratching her side with her back leg and both of the pups curling up into a ball to sleep. Baby steps from helpless little lima beans to man's (and lady's) best friend. As newborns they more closely resemble guinea pigs than a dogs, but we are starting to see the dogs in them emerge. Life is beautiful!
